KIDS & TEENS @ SHPY: 

Due to health considerations, kids and teens age 15 and under are not permitted to attend heated classes at South Hills Power Yoga. However, we've created these exciting new kids, teen and family classes so everyone can join in on the fun:

Mommy (or Daddy!) & Me Yoga

(recommended for children under 3) 

Infants are natural yogis so bring your little one and connect with your child and with yourself as a parent! This unique 45-minute class gives you the chance to continue your personal practice while sharing the experience with your child. Sessions include gentle baby massage, playtime, games, stories, asana flow and community. (Other trusted caretakers are always welcome in place of parents with a signed waiver.) 

Preschool Power Kids

(ages 3-5)

A new, weekly afternoon class that helps to develop self-confidence as well as build social skills in preschool-aged children. In this 45-minute session, kids will strengthen their bodies and work on their focus. Activities include playful yoga practice, singing, drawing and story time. 

Parents are welcome to wait in our lobby or drop off children. 

Power Kids Monthly Workshop
2nd Saturday of Each Month w/ Nancy Jean Morrison

Introduce your child to yoga through this creative & fun workshop!  Yoga encourages children to be comfortable with their bodies and offers a physical outlet and challenge in a non-competitive environment.  Each session includes yoga instruction, a story and a craft. 

Parents are welcome to wait in our lobby or drop off children. 

Empowered Tweens & Teens
Currently Offered As A Periodic Workshop (Or as a private session for sports teams and/or groups of friends. Please email (admin@SouthHillsPowerYoga.com) to make arrangements.)

(ages 12-15)

Unplug for an hour and connect to your potential. This yoga class will enable you to strengthen your body as well as help you balance the way you approach school, activities and your social life. Each one-hour non-heated power yoga session will flow from pose to pose and include a warm-up, standing sequence, floor work and relaxation. Come solo or invite all of your friends or your whole team to practice with you. 

Parents are welcome to wait in our lobby or drop off teens. 

Tweens and teens between the ages of 12–15 are also welcome to practice at our non-heated Pay-What-You-Can classes (offered weekly at both SHPY studios) if a parent or guardian is present. (SHPY Pay-What-You-Can Class Schedule: Dormont: Tuesday & Thursday @ 7:30p.m. & Peters: Wednesday @ 7:30p.m.)

EveryBody Yoga

Pay-What-You-Can

This 40-minute non-heated yoga class is open to everyone wishing to practice. Come alone or bring the whole family. All sessions will start with a warm-up of Sun Salutations, move into standing postures and then end with floor work and deep rest. Each class will be different as it will be uniquely crafted to meet the needs of those who show up. (Kids will participate along with the group, to the degree which they are capable. Parents will be responsible for keeping them and others safe while having fun as we all co-create the "we're all in this together" community feel of the class.)

All minors (under 18) must have a parent/guardian signed waiver prior to practicing.
