Exciting SHPY-Peters News!

Hi, SHPY Yogis!

I write with exciting news, many months in the works, and it feels great to finally share it with all of you!

On January 1, 2019 Darcy Lyle will take over as the owner of the Peters Township yoga studio that is currently SHPY-Peters! At that time, the name of that location will change to Abundant Strength Yoga. (The Dormont location will remain under my ownership and continue to run as South Hills Power Yoga.) Though the studios will operate separately, Darcy and I will offer travel pass options for students who wish to practice at both locations and will continue to lead a joint 200hr Yoga Teacher Training for the foreseeable future.

So, if you are a current SHPY-Peters student, what does this mean for you? Current Peters Township students have a full three months (from this announcement on 10/1/18) to use your SHPY classes at the Peters location. If you still have SHPY classes after December 31, 2018, you can use them at the Dormont location and I will be happy to extend expiration dates as needed. (The exception is those with a 3 Month Unlimited Pass or a pass frozen for a medical reason will have a choice where to finish your pass.) If you have questions or concerns about your current pass(es), please email me directly (Stacey@SouthHillsPowerYoga.com) and Darcy and I will work with you to ensure you don't lose your classes.

It also means that you and the studio will be in great hands. Darcy was my first power yoga teacher and it is not an exaggeration to say that SHPY would not exist had I never stumbled into her class at a local gym over a decade ago. She was part of the SHPY community from the very first day and has been instrumental in shaping the thriving yoga community that SHPY-Peters has become. I am honored to pass the baton to her- my teacher and friend- and cannot wait to see what beautiful things she creates with you- the incredible community of Peters Township yogis.

I look forward to practicing with all of you during this transition and beyond.
