2025 TEACHER TRAINING WORK/TRADE SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION

We have up to two $500 partial scholarships available for our 2025 training. These scholarships will be awarded based on financial need as well as applicants’ availability to complete required work/trade hours. For each $500 given, 25 hours of work/trade are required. This scholarship is open to past members of the studio’s regular Work/Trade team as well as the public. Virtual work/trade duties may include: admin support for teacher training sessions, taking roll at teacher training sessions, communicating with training group in-person or via email, cleaning tasks, etc. Please be aware that the Teacher Training program is very time intensive and requires a large time commitment: taking on the responsibility of work/trade increases this commitment substantially. Please do not apply for this scholarship unless you are certain you have the extra time and energy. After reviewing the applications, we may conduct interviews with qualified applicants. How to Apply: Please complete and submit your 2025 Teacher Training Application* (link below) and your Scholarship Application in the same day. Application Deadline for Scholarship: Monday, December 23, 2024 at 11:59p.m. EST Selection Process: Individuals will be selected based on their financial need, personal statement, and availability for virtual work exchange. Recipients will be notified via email no later than December 31, 2024.
